A council of Egyptian experts and academics held its third meeting on Saturday in the presence of Prime Minster Ibrahim Mahlab and Transport Minister Hany Dahy.

The meeting focused on boosting healthcare and transport services as well as improving the quality of education.

The Egyptian think-tank comprises Nobel laureate Ahmed Zewail, prominent Egyptian heart surgeon Magdi Yacoub, geologist and former NASA scientist Farouk El Baz, and president of Microsoft Middle East and Africa Ali Faramawy.
