A new bird flu case was reported in Sharqia governorate on Friday, to be the first case announced in Egypt in 2015.
A four-year-old girl showed the virus symptoms according to laboratory tests, the ministry added.
Meanwhile, A 42-year-old man has died from the H5N1 in Menofia's Ashmoon, the health ministry confirmed.
