Egyptian Ambassador in Togo Karim Sharif delivered to the Togolese government a consignment of medical assistance, offered by Egypt’s government, said a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
The assistance came in implementation of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry's directives to allocate 500,000 pounds to provide assistance to Togo, said Sharif in statements on Tuesday.
The Egyptian envoy highlighted the assistance reflects the distinguished Egyptian-Togolese relations in the various domains.
For his party, the Togolese health minister extended thanks to the people and government of Egypt for this gesture.
