Population and Housing Minister Adel Adawi said that efforts are underway to renovate Boulaq General Hospital, which was evacuated on Saturday, when a water pipe exploded.
In statements Monday, the minister said that the water was removed, adding that the electricity will be returned to the hospital today.
Also, the operation and emergency rooms will be sterilized, he added.
He further said that the hospital is expected to be opened by the end of this week.
