Head of the Health Ministry's Preventive Medicine Sector Amr Qandil denied there is a mysterious or unknown virus in Shoubra el Khima area.

This came at a meeting of the Health Affairs Committee at the House of Representatives on Monday

There is no new cases detected in Shoubra el Khima, except the confirmed cases within two families, Qandil said. 

All samples taken from more than 1,000 persons living near the two families' houses in Shoubra el Khima "tested negative", he made it clear. (MENA)
