Center and Park Project

The Ministry of Health and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) signed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding for the establishment and expansion of health centers at a cost of US$4.26.
The project consists of establishing two new health centers, construction to expand the Amman Health Center, the provision of equipment and furniture for these centers, bringing in Korean experts to provide technical support for the action plan and implementation of the project, as well as to send engineers and medical staff from Jordan to Korea in order to exchange knowledge and expertise with regard to the health centers.
Minister of Health Ali Hiasat and KOICA representative to Jordan, Han Young-tae during the signing ceremony, stressed that once implemented, it would improve health services.
The Minister appreciated the support of the Korean agency in the implementation of many health related programs in the Kingdom.
On his part, Han stressed the depth of relations and cooperation with Jordan in all fields, particularly health, as well as his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
Han also pointed to his country’s readiness to send Korean medical staff to volunteer in Jordanian hospitals.
