Accreditation Canada has awarded its silver-level Qmentum International Programme for dental health services to the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention's, MoHP, specialised dental care centres.

The ministry said the accreditation was granted following a rigorous evaluation process, carried out by a team of specialists from Accreditation Canada, in all specialised dental care centres.

The evaluation ensured compliance with international standards in the areas of quality, patients' safety, medicine management, infection prevention and occupational health. According to the evaluation outcome, the ministry was found to be in compliance with 97 percent of international standards.
