The newly-dispatched staff of the Jordanian field hospital "Gaza 32" in the Gaza Strip began its work on Saturday, providing humanitarian medical services to Palestinians in the Israeli-besieged territory.
The rotation of the hospital's crews is in line with His Majesty King Abdullah's orders to maintain the hospital's services and boost its role to ease the plight of Gazans after Israel's 50-day war against the enclave.
The commander of "Gaza 32," Col. Khaled Zyoud, told Petra that all the hospital's medical, technical and administrative personnel provide round-the-clock service to the needy.
The hospital's director, Col. Mohammad Shboul, said the clinic's staff were proficient enough and had the expertise to offer the best treatment and medical services to "the brothers in Gaza" to help them overcome the tough conditions they had been through.
Accompanying "Gaza 32" was a convoy carrying medical and other humanitarian aid that will be distributed to hospitals in the coastal strip.
