Ebola

Malaysian Health Minister S. Subramaniam said that no case of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) had been reported in the country and there was no cause for the public to panic, Malaysian state news agency Bernama reported on Friday.
It quoted Subramaniam as saying that the ministry would duly make a public announcement if there was a case.
A Zimbabwean student, who was quarantined at a hospital in Sarawak, had tested negative for EVD, the ministry confirmed, dismissing the panic among the public over the fatal infection.
The minister also said the government had taken preventive measures particularly at entry points such as airports to monitor and examine visitors who had arrived from the affected countries.
