Prime Minister Sherif Ismail ordered on Sunday meeting university hospitals' needs of solutions and medicines this week.
Following a meeting with the health and higher education ministers, Ismail assigned the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Trading Company to meet the needs of universities hospitals, totaling 86, of blood products after the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) allocated 31 million dollars to import the need quantity of blood products.
He also ordered the Health Ministry to provide university hospitals with 65,000 blood filters this week and pay 200,000 pounds to the Higher Education Ministry in return for health services provided by university hospitals.
The government is keen on providing high-level medical services for citizens at all hospitals, the prime minister noted.
