The Saudi Health Ministry announced two new cases of the corona virus, known as the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), and one death.

The new cases bring to 1,175 the number of cases detected in Saudi Arabia since June 2012, a statement by the ministry said on Saturday.

The statement added that 503 cases died and 606 cases were cured, while 57 cases are still receiving treatment along with nine other cases isolated in their homes.
