The Saudi Health Ministry said on Saturday that no new coronavirus infections were identified while two cases were recovered.

In a statement, the ministry said that no new deaths or infections of the deadly virus were reported.

It added that 577 cases were discharged from hospitals, while two others continue to receive treatment.

The number of cases infected with coronavirus has hit 1,039, 460 of whom died since the emergence of the disease in the kingdom in 2012.
