Ebola virus

Slovakia planned to provide some 90,000 (114,000 U. S. dollars) euros to countries affected by Ebola to help with the construction of field hospitals, foreign ministry said on Saturday.
"It's for tents, beds, sheets, lighting, towels, generators, sinks and toilets," Peter Susko, head of the press department at Slovak foreign ministry, said.
The plan was initiated by Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, who asked other ministries to draft options of potential aid in the fight against Ebola, said Susko.
Slovakia first provided financial help in the fight against Ebola via the World Health Organisation, sending 15,000 (19,000 U. S. dollars) euros from the development aid programme in mid-September
