Hassan Ali Khayre, Prime Minister of Somalia, accompanied by Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to Somalia, have visited injured victims of the recent terrorist bombing attack, who are currently undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Mogadishu.
This came during the UAE medical team's and Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, visit to the hospital yesterday.
Prime Minister Khayre was briefed on the condition of the wounded, praising the distinguished health and medical services provided by the UAE medical team for them at the Sheikh Zayed Hospital. The minister thanked the UAE for its humanitarian initiative to airlift 100 injured Somalis to receive medical treatment, and take care of 300 families and orphans of the victims of the attack.
Al Khayre expressed his appreciation for the UAE's continued support to Somalia, praising the efforts of UAE medical team in treating the wounded.
Al Hammadi thanked the Somali Prime Minister for his efforts to facilitate the swift transfer of severely injured patients abroad to receive the necessary treatment in the UAE
