Spanish capital's hospitals

A Spanish nurse, working in one of the Spanish capital's hospitals, has tested positive for Ebola virus, according to preliminary diagnosis, cited by local media Monday.
The nurse is one of the medical staff who treated Priest Manuel Garcia Viejo, who died of Ebola on September 25 at Carlos III Hospital in Madrid, sources in Spanish health ministry said, according to Spanish News Agency (EFE).
The nurse has checked herself earlier into Alcorcon hospital, where symptoms of virus were apparent on her, EFE said, adding that she tested positive for Ebola in preliminary diagnosis.
Second medical tests are to be performed on the nurse in order to confirm the initial tests, EFE noted, adding that Alcorcon hospital has activated security and safety protocol, and took appropriate measures in order to curb the virus in case it was confirmed.
