The number of persons suspected of suffering from seasonal flu in North Sinai rose to 16, medics here reported Friday.

A medical source said 16 people were admitted to Beir el Abd Hospital with seasonal flu symptoms.

Swine flu has been named a seasonal flu virus according to the World Health Organization, the ministry underscored.
