A team of Tunisian researchers succeeded to extract leaves of a medicinal plant "Limoniastrum monopetalum," a product capable of reducing by 35% the proliferation of melanoma (a kind of skin cancer). It appears from trials carried out on animals that the extracts of the Limoniastrum monopetalum leaves are able to destroy by up to 70% certain cancer cells
