The UAE Embassy in Peru has donated tuberculosis diagnostic equipment to a hospital in the National Penitentiary Institute in Peru.

The UAE Ambassador to Peru, Mohammed Yusouf Al Awadi, handed the device in the presence of Luz Salgado Rubianes, President of Peruvian Congress, and a number of prison officials.

The director of the hospital expressed his appreciation to the UAE over this act of generosity.
