14 militants were killed, six were wounded and 40 others were arrested during the past 24 hours in joint clearance operations by Afghan National Army and the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan. The operations were held in Nangarhar, Baghlan, Takhar, Faryab, Kandahar, Zabul, Ghazni, Ghor and Helmand provinces in Afghanistan, the ministry of interior affairs said today in a press release. No causalities on the security forces side were reported. During the operations, the forces confiscated massive amounts of drugs, weapons, hand grenades, two motorcycles and two vehicles.
