Two Saudi soldiers were killed, on Thursday, in a landmine explosion in the southern border, according to Saudi Interior Ministry.
The ministry posted in a tweet on its Twitter account announcing that a patrol of the border guards in Al-Rdhaa Sector in Jazan Region was exposed to a land mine explosion and projectiles from the Yemeni territories which resulted in martyrdom of Sergeant Jaber Ahmad Yatimi and Vice Sergeant Mohammed Musa Jaber Al-Raithi.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the spokesman added that the competent authorities started investigations.
