Director of the National Hospital in Al Salmia, Nofal Safar said that, 35 civilians were killed including women and children and 90 other were wounded as a result of a “Daesh” attack on Akareb town near Al Salmia in Hama countryside on Thursday, and most of them were shot in the head.
Local sources said that, Daesh elements launched an attack on oil pipes east of Akareb and Al-Mofker towns in Al Salmia countrtside, and seized 4 checkpoints belong to the Syrian Army, causing a massacre.
On the other hand, a military source said that, the Syrian Army blocked “Daesh” attack and the clashes between them are still happening on Al-Mofker front. There are other clashes between the Syrian Army and Daesh elements in the Al Salmia northeastern countryside of Hama governorate since dawn.
