Armed clashes in Lebanon\'s al-Musharrafieh between gunmen from the Al-Mokdad family and others from the prominent al-Karaki family wounded four people on Thursday. The warring clans, in the southern suburbs, used guns in the exchange which led to the injury of Najib Karaki and his brother Issa, who suffered a serious wound to the head and is under strict medical supervision. A woman from Farhat family was hit while she was in the balcony of her house during the shooting. A child fell on the street among the exchange of gunfire between the two families.  Security sources said that safety measures taken by the Lebanese army units ended the shooting but did not alleviate the tension, waiting for communications by leaders in the Amal movement and Hezbollah with the two parties, to whom certain family members were affiliated to. It is reported that in Marg town in Bekaa, citizens Radwan and Khalil Dbajh were shot in their legs after differences over money erupted into violence. The two injured men were taken to Bekaa hospital in Taanayel, while the suspected gunman fled to an unknown destination.  On the Lebanese-Syrian borders, sounds of gunfire and rockets in a region near to the borders in Hermel were loud due to violent clashes taking place since the morning in al-Qasr village and its surroundings on the Syrian side of the border. Heavy guns were used as well as missiles of military helicopters which participated in operations against Syrian army officials. Lebanese security sources reported that three shells and rockets fell in Masrafa town and one of them hit a house owned by the Hussein family without causing any injuries.
