Algerian criminal court

Algerian criminal court sentenced a defendant accused of killing Algerian security director general Ali Tunsi in 2010 to death.
The verdict came to respond to the request submitted by the public prosecution, while the defendant’s defense staff has eight days to file an appeal against the verdict before the Court of Cassation.
The case returns to the assassination of the Algerian security leader who was killed in his office on February 25, 2010, as the defendant shot the security leader after hated debate. The defendant justified his crime that he was defending himself.
