Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalked Sellal has arrived in Valletta, Malta, ahead of the second Western Mediterranean Dialogue, also known as the 5+5 Dialogue. Algerian PM Abdelmalek Sellal was assigned by the President Abdelaziz Bouteflika to head the Algerian delegation taking part in the summit. The second edition of this meeting will last two days (October 5 – 6) with the participation of Mauritania, Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Malta. Maltese Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi described the summit as a “historic event” which will undertake a general review of education, environment, energy and economic issues. The summit will take place at the Auberge de Castile and the Verdala Palace in Valletta. The schedule also includes a state dinner hosted by President George Abela.
