Algerie - Rabia Khreis
Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal replied, early Sunday, to pharmacy students who organized protests and staged several strikes, demanding the government to meet the pedagogical demand.
Sellal's response came through Twitter to the students' tweets expressing protest against policies, saying, "Currently I am in the African summit, I will meet with representatives of pharmacy students when I return to Algeria."
The protester students said that they resorted to the Prime Minister after the failure of all their attempts with the ministers of health and higher education.
Sellal move is the first time that Algerian Prime Minister reacts with protesters across social media sites.
Algerian government seeks, in the current circumstances, to calm the situation, particularly as it entered into the preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections stage.
