Arab Coalition airstrikes tar

Midi and Harad districts in Hajjah Governorate in Yemen has been witnessing a military escalation between government forces backed by the Arab Coalition and the Houthi rebels supported by armed forces loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Local sources revealed that Apache helicopters affiliated to the Arab Coalition have launched about 30 airstrikes on the rebels in different ares in Hajja.
Armored vehicles and soldiers were sent to Midi several weeks ago, in order to make progress, and launch a large-scale military operations against the Houthi sites. Meanwhile Apache intensely shelled the rebels during the last few days, while forces loyal to Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi failed to achieve any significant advance this week.
Harad is located on the Yemeni-Saudi border, on an area of ​​about 84.04 km2, while Midi is located on the Red Sea coast, and has a old port which was previously used in smuggling
