Security personnel leave the site after a police operation on militants on the outskirts of Dhaka

Bangladeshi police have engaged in a firefight during a raid on a hideout of militants in Narayanganj on the outskirts of capital Dhaka.

Police cordoned off the area since Saturday morning on information about presence of a gang of militants hiding in a house.
