US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived on Monday in Algeria to discuss security cooperation between the two nations. Officials reported that the meeting will be with senior officials namely President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. Clinton arrived at the airport at 5:30 am on Monday and was received by Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci Her mission falls within the Algerian-US strategic dialogue, held in Washington on October 19. The talk’s agenda included strategies to combat against Al-Qaeda and the crisis in Mali, sources said. The meeting will also include plans to boost economic and security partnerships between Algeria and Washington. She will be in Algeria for just one day and the visit is the Clinton’s second to Algeria this year.
