Slovak Ambassador here Valer Franko said on Wednesday that exports of the Visegrad member states to Egypt hit 1.352 billion euros in 2016.

In statements to MENA, he added that the Visegrad summit which was held in Budapest on Tuesday, with the participation of Egypt, will open the door for more cooperation in the domains of illegal migration and will help establish stability in the region.

He further underlined the importance of dialogue between Egypt and the grouping member states, given the fact that Egypt is a major regional country in the Middle East and North Africa.
