The Egyptian embassy in Nouakchott celebrated on Friday the 44th October 6 victory anniversary.

With documentaries screened, the celebration was attended by heads of political parties, newspapers’ chief editors, intellectuals, military experts and Arab diplomats in Mauritania.

Egypt’s ambassador to Mauritania Maged Nafea said the October 6 War was a turning point in which the Egyptians united with their political leadership to change the situations in Sinai and plan for the future.

The celebration witnessed unprecedented media coverage from different TV channels, radio stations, and newspapers.
