The Egyptian president, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received Jordanian King Abdullah II in Cairo to discuss the aspect of the strategic relation between the two countries and ways to strengthen it.
According to sources, this meeting will discuss the Egyptian and Arabic efforts in achieving peace in the Middle East, before the Arabic Islamic Summit held by US president Donald Trump in Riyadh next week.
The summit will also discuss number of mutual regional issues including, the Syrian crisis, situation in Yemen, Iraq and Libya, and the exerted efforts to solve these issues, along with the International Community efforts in fighting terrorism.
