Palestinian Prime Minister of the dismissed government in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh confirmed that Gaza was not and will not be a source of threats to Egyptian security, expressing his appreciation for Egypt and its leadership in its wise dealings with the Palestinian people and the Gaza Strip’s residents in particular. Haniyeh said in his meeting with the security delegation after his return from Egypt that: \"I became more satisfied after the security delegation from Gaza to Egypt visit, Gaza Strip was not and will not be a source of security threat for Egypt but a source of security, stability and cooperation.\" The security delegation which was formed by the government of the Gaza Strip met with the Egyptian intelligence, officials in addition to the supreme guide of the Muslim Brotherhood  Mohamed Badie. Haniyeh listened to a full explanation for what happened in these meetings, expressing his satisfaction with the visit’s results and emphasized the firm stance to protect Palestinian Egyptian national security. Haniyeh asked the delegation to keep going in the communications with the Egyptian officials which strength the linkages and fraternal relations between both people and establishes security cooperation and help on the face of any developments in this regard.
