Hezbollah forces in Qalamoun to uncover fate of abducted

Security sources said Hezbollah forces entered areas in Syria's western Qalamoun to uncover the fate of Lebanese military personnel kidnapped by Daesh, the Arabic-speaking Sky News reported Sunday.

Earlier Sunday, the Lebanese army announced a ceasefire in its offensive against Daesh group in Jerud al Qaq and Baalbek to allow for negotiations over the release of the kidnapped soldiers.

The ceasefire went into effect at 7 a.m.

Meanwhile, Lebanese media said 13 Hezbollah fighters, who had been killed in battles in Rif Dimashq, were laid to rest.
