Israel steps up pressure on prisoners in Raymond jail

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said the Israeli prison authorities stormed Sunday Raymond jail and enforced severe measures against the Palestinian prisoners in Section (6).

The forces transferred 120 prisoners to other prisons, the commission noted.

The Commission’s advocate Ashraf Abu Sneine said the Israeli military prosecution in Ofer prison issued administrative detention orders against 14 prisoners, adding that detention time ranged between three to six months.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoner's Club (PPC) said Israeli forces arrested 12 Palestinians in the West Bank since last night till dawn of Sunday as well as 13 citizens during the past two days including a girl from Qalandia camp named Shahed Mohamed Abu Kwaik, 15.
