Waed Association for Prisoners said in a statement that the Israeli Prison Services (IPS) transferred, Wednesday, a number of prisoners from Negev jail facility to Nafha prison in conditions that violate basic human rights. Waed revealed that 65 prisoners are currently at section 4 in Nafha prison without any clothes or covers, and are left outdoors in the cold. Waed is calling  for the immediate intervention of the Red Cross and international organizations to end the serious suffering of the detainees, particularly due to the cold weather that puts the lives of many of these prisoners at risk. They also urged all media to propagate their case in order to force IPS to provide the prisoners with basic essentials. Waed held the Nafha prison forces fully responsible for the lives of the prisoners and the conditions of the prison, whereas tension began to rise in the rest of the prison sections, as prisoners started protesting against the poor conditions of their peers who arrived from Negev Prison.
