Israeli media and the government expressed outrage when it was found out that Israeli soldiers serving in a military outpost on the Lebanese border published a video on YouTube containing military secrets. The Yediot Ahronot website was the first to spot the link and wrote: "The monitoring unit and the intelligence of Hezbollah do not need to make more effort so watch this video." The news website soon informed the government of it, which rushed to take it off YouTube. The video was on YouTube for months before Yediot Ahronot discovered it and was its presence unnkown to the Israeli army, even though it contained confidential material. The video shows a number of soldiers who played the roles of military officers dancing with female soldiers inside an operations room in a front base on the border with Lebanon, before they showed secret military maps and very advanced information about a control system. A soldier played the character of an intelligence officer, which was the main role in the film, while a number of female soldiers appeared with him taking off their military suits and dancing, while another group of soldiers were shown crawling in a protective tunnel located in the base. The film shows, without any attempt to add noise or cover, display panels used by the military intelligence contained the daily operational instructions and calls for communication devices and other operational data. The soldiers provided their full names at the end of the film.
