The Jordanian Monarch assigned 75 year old, former MP Abdullah al Nassour, the task of forming the new government on Wednesday.  This decision followed the resignation of PM Fayez al-Tarwana resigned yesterday. All former ministers, prime ministers, parliament member were astonished with the decision as they had no inclination of the new PM till the last moment. All ministers have packed their personal documents and belongings from their ministries, in order to leave them today, awaiting the formation of the new government. The new Prime Minister started his consultations in order to form the government which is supposed to be announced between Saturday and Sunday. Politicians criticised the mechanism upon which the Jordanian government is to be formed, and its depending on the king's decision. Al-Nassour formerly held several governmental positions, as he was the deputy PM and Minister of information, planning and foreign affairs. He was elected for several rounds as a member in the Jordanian parliament, representing al-Balqaa.
