Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta on Wednesday attended a ceremony at a military base in Bamako, on the occasion of the arrival of Russian combat aircraft and military transport planes.

The Russian planes include aircraft for transporting soldiers, Mi-35M attack helicopters and Puma helicopters.

For his part, the Malian president said that he is proud of concluding the deal with the Russian side, asserting that these aircraft will help strengthen the army’s capabilities.
