Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and parliament speaker Osama Nujaifi held discussions early Sunday to discuss and approve important laws reached by the Joint Committee to resolve the Iraqi political crisis. The reporter of house of representatives Mohammed al-Khalidi said that: \"The Prime Minister and speaker of parliament willdiscuss in their meeting political developments and thereform paper presented by the National Alliance, including the naming of ministers and security chiefs.\" Khalidi added to Arabstoday: \"The meeting will also address ways of adopting important laws, especially after parliamentary success in legislating 110 laws,  there are some comments on the reforming paper from some political parties which will be discussed.\" \"The reform paper is greatly accepted by political parties through its principles but there are some differing views on some details and hopefully a final agreement will be reached during the meeting.\" Khalidi explained: \"The reform paper includes initiating a draft law of the internal system of the Council of Ministers, the names of security leaders and team leaders and to agree on candidates of the defense and interior minister position as well as working on a balancing process in state institutions in line with the reform project adopted by the National Alliance which is a step towards breaking the fears of some political blocs of marginalization to create the right climate for a national meeting and mature solutions moving towards the building of a state of civil institutions.\"
