A rocket launched from Gaza on Friday evening, exploding in Netivot settlement at the Western Naqab, southern occupied Palestine since 1948. Israeli radio said the rocket explosion resulted in the injury of an Israeli without any further damage. According to the radio, a Grad rocket fired from Gaza towards Netivot exploded in an open area, causing no injuries or damage. Residents panicked after hearing the loud explosion caused by the rocket. The radio station said that immediately after hearing the security alarms in the settlement the Magen David Adom (MDA) (Red Star of David) team, civil defence squads, and the occupation army rushed to the area.
