Egyptian and Russian paratroopers continued conducting joint exercises as part of their anti-terrorist drills, codenamed "Protectors of Friendship 3".
The paratroopers carried out more than 200 parachute jumps.

The joint drills aim at exchanging training experiences as regards counter-terrorism tactics, freeing hostages and storming facilities based on the latest modern training systems.

The training comes as part of the cooperation between the Russian and Egyptian armed forces.
