President of Senegal, Macky Sall, has decorated H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Noor Dubai Foundation, a Dubai based non-governmental organisation (NGO) active in prevention of avoidable causes of blindness will set up a mobile eye camp in the Capital of Senegal, Dakar, in December this year.

The team will provide eye preventive and treatment services for those who suffer from eye disease in Senegal, which account to approximately 500,000 people.

President of Senegal Macky Sall has lauded the humanitarian initiatives of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) across the world regardless of the various cultures, ethnicities and nationalities.

Sall also praised the massive development in the UAE thanks to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

While meeting with the Noor Dubai Foundation delegation at the end of its humanitarian tour in Senegal, the Senegalese President noted that Noor Dubai's initiative at combatting blindness in the world, and provision of the appropriate medical treatment and services for the underprivileged.

In the presence of Mohammed Salim Al Rashidi, Ambassador of the UAE to Senegal, he also said that the delegation's visit to Senegal is a proof of the UAE's willingness to provide assistance to visually disabled patients.

Dr. Manal Taryam, CEO of Noor Dubai and member of the Board of Trustees at Noor Dubai Foundation presented the translated copies of "Flashes of Thoughts' and 'My Vision,'' of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed for the Senegalese President, in the presence of Mahmoud Al Marzouki, Board member of Noor Dubai Foundation and the accompanying delegation.

Taryam thanked Sall and Senegal's first lady for inviting them to the country.
