Suez Canal Authority said the US nuclear aircraft carrier “Enterprise” passed through the Canal on Friday accompanied by five military ships. Sources said Enterprise crossed the canal with three destroyers Nitze 94, Porter 78 and James e Williams 95 and two supply vessels, Supply and Big Horn 198. A security alert was raised in the Suez Canal as the US aircraft carrier. Ferries services were suspended during this time and traffic from the bridge overhead was blocked. Small boats were denied access to the canal and only employees of the canal authority were allowed to enter all 14 stations of the canal.
