A U.S. drone strike killed at least two people and injured three others in northwestern tribal area of Pakistan on Friday afternoon, reported local Urdu channel ARY. According to the report, a U.S. drone fired two missiles at a vehicle in Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan, one of the seven restive tribal regions at Pak-Afghan border. Local media reported that five people were traveling in the vehicle in Bagher Cheena town of the afore-said area when the missiles hit the vehicle. Details about the identities of the killed in the strike were not immediately available. Friday\'s U.S. drone strike is the 54th of its kind in Pakistan\' s northwestern tribal areas in 2011. To date, a total of 470 people, most of them believed to be militants, have reportedly been killed in such strikes.
