A transport helicopter crashed on landing in Afghanistan Monday, injuring four Canadian soldiers, military officials said. The Chinook Ch-47 carrying several dozen passengers \"rolled\" while making a \"hard landing\" on a river bed during night operations in the Horn of Panwaii, The (Montreal) Gazette reported. Insurgents were not to blame for the crash, the newspaper said. Maj. David Devenney, spokesman for Task Force Kandahar, said the four injured soldiers were expected to survive.
