Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Fereydoun Abbassi, met with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Yukyo Amano. Amano in the meeting, taking place on the sidelines of the 55th IAEA General Session, told Abbassi that he was thankful of Iran for its unsparing assistance in arranging the IAEA officers’ constant inspections to its nuclear facilities. Abbassi urged the IAEA to be fair in preparing and publishing its quarterly reports on Iran nuclear program and not to be influenced by certain states. The two sides also agreed on further expansion of the IAEA-Iran cooperation.
