A special court in Afghanistan has started overturning election results following disputed parliamentary polls dating back to last year, its representatives said Thursday. The head of the tribunal, Sidiquallah Haqiq, read out a list of provinces where results had been recalculated at a press conference in Kabul. The controversial court, set up on the orders of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, has been investigating allegations of fraud from elections in September.
