The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Abdul-Ghani Al-Naeem, Wednesday received in his office the General Director of South and East Africa Department at the Canadian Foreign Ministry and briefed him on the recent political and economic developments in Sudan which has qualified it to be a country which is attractive for investments and more open to the world, indicating that both Sudan and Canada are characterized by the cultural diversity.
The Canadian office said that he is visiting Sudan to be informed closely about the situation and the developments in the country.
The two sides have affirmed the importance of strengthening the cooperation, encouraging the private sectors in Sudan and Canada for investment, boosting the relations between the legislative bodies in the two countries and enhancing the cooperation in the cultural, antiquities and arts fields.
