Hungarian Ambassador in Cairo Peter Kveck

Hungarian Ambassador in Cairo Peter Kveck expressed the Hungarian tourists' keenness on spending their holidays in tourist resorts in Egypt.

Giving a word at a ceremony to mark the 60th anniversary of the Hungarian revolution, (October 23, 1956), amb. Kveck stressed the importance of the revolutions that took place in his country in 1956 and in Egypt in 2011, saying they brought about changes in history.

The most important lesson learned from these great revolutions in the two countries is "freedom is the most important national wealth", he said.

He further underlined that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el Sisi and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orb?n agreed on boosting bilateral ties and beefing up investments during their meetings in 2015 and 2016.

Cairo and Budapest are cooperating in the railway, agriculture, water desalination and new and renewable energy resources fields, he said.
