American senator from Arizona on Monday night called on Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed at Bait Al Baraka. The Omani monarch and John McCain, who was in Benghazi, Libya, last Friday, reviewed various aspects of co-operation between Oman and the US, according to a report by the Oman News Agency. Syed Badr Bin Hamad Al Busaidy, Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry, Richard J Schmierer, US Ambassador to the Sultanate, and the delegation accompanying the senator were also present at the meeting.
